Haringey Football Academy Sponsorship Success
We are thrilled to continue our sponsorship of Haringey Girls Academy into a second season!

As part of our continued commitment to support social value initiatives within the communities in which we work, Alcema remain dedicated to support of Haringey Girls Football Academy.
The 2022-2023 season proved a very successful one for Haringey Girls Academy, both on and off the pitch, as Adem Ali, Club Director explains, “The season has been a momentous one with the club fielding 5 teams for the first time! The U13s have won the League and the League Cup, the U15s winning the County Cup, JPL National Cup & Title (the most prestigious league in the country) and the U16s winning both the London and Middlesex Cups!”
Adem continues, “…off the pitch, with Alcema’s funding, in addition to the playing shirts we were able to assist 5 girls to become coaches, 3 girls to pass their referee badges and to purchase equipment including new boots, shinpads or gloves for girls, whose families may otherwise have been unable to afford.” These sentiments are echoed throughout the Academy as one parent elaborates “…every step of the way, Haringey have been supportive. When I found myself struggling to afford payments Haringey informed me of the Alcema Fund which has provided additional financial support to enable my daughter to continue with her love of football with Haringey….I am so thankful to both Alcema and Haringey”

At Alcema we are passionate to positively support the local communities in which we work, and are delighted with the impact that our sponsorship has had so far; Emily Pickard, a player within the Academy shares her success; “The year has been amazing at Haringey and I have enjoyed every single moment of it. From making new friends to winning the league the club have helped me to develop throughout the season. I am now on my way to becoming a coach thanks to Alcema’s funding and I will use all my experience with Haringey to help teach the new generation about football and helping them develop. Without this, I don’t think I would have been able to continue to do that. My plan is to continue in the sport that I love.”

Working in partnership with our clients and their wider communities is central to the company ethos at Alcema. We work with our clients for additional ways that we can enhance social value outcomes for not only the projects that we deliver but importantly beyond the environments that we shape. We look to be involved with many different activities and consider every project unique, brining new opportunities for us to have a positive impact on the surrounding local communities. Our sponsorship of Haringey Girls Football Academy being a perfect example of an opportunity identified, acted upon with incredible feedback!
