    OVERVIEW

Fast-track scheme to complete the fit-out of an 80,000 ft2 developer’s shell in 14 weeks. This significantly compressed timescale necessitated exemplary organisation planning by our experienced team and resulted in the scheme being delivered on budget, on time and to the satisfaction of the client.

    SCOPE OF WORKS

    Category A and B fit-out of Developer’s Shell.

  • 03

    WORKS METHODOLOGY

Our team installed all electrical and mechanical plant and associated mechanical movement equipment, including 6 lifts and 2 escalators. We installed all package plant units to the roof, PVC cells, rain water harvesting and solar panels.

Meticulous attention to access, waste removal, delivery schedules, safety and access barriers, lighting, and security systems consolidated harmonious relations with the developer and other contractors on site.

The project was subject to the Considerate Constructors scheme and achieved ‘Performance beyond Compliance’ certification.

    OUTCOME

The public’s expectation that Marks and Spencer would fulfil its promise to open on time in July 2015 meant delays were not acceptable. Aside from completing the development on time and on budget, the team brought the new store into line with Marks and Spencer’s latest store design requirements.
