Social Impact – Careers
With 10% of the total UK employment being provided by the Construction industry it is clear to see why Construction remains integral to the UK economy.

The right people, the right skills
Alcema has set clearly defined targets as to how we intend to grow working to a 5 year plan. With new and exciting projects being successfully tendered all the time we are delighted to be able to play our part in helping local employment figures and the UK economy.
In order to deliver each project to the very highest specification as well as meet targets for scheduled dates we require a number of experienced personnel to work on each project. As a Principal Contractor, we always ensure that all trades we use achieve our required standards by completion of our pre-qualification questionnaires, this includes a social value aspect. The information is stored on our database and maintained regularly. This process forms part of our Integrated Management Systems Accreditations.
As an Equal Opportunities Employer we constantly look at ways to deliver socially fair representation.
Equality in the Workplace
