Our supply chain is integral to every project we deliver. Over the years we have built strong partnerships with various companies large and small, and a team of subcontractors, many we have worked with for over 20 years. Strong relationships have been forged based on working collaboratively and respectfully; striving for continuous improvement, working to best practises and sharing knowledge.

For relationships to grow with mutual respect we know open communication is essential. We encourage open and frank discussion to share concerns and identify areas for improvement for both parties. In open forums we also highlight areas of success we are keen to repeat and take in to further projects. Our process includes regular feedback and reporting which is essential in the construction industry to ensure ongoing safety as well as quality. We regularly discuss industry issues and updates, and as an SME we are proud to be able to react quickly to any new methods which will enhance project delivery in any way. We actively engage with, and listen to, our supply chain partners as well as our clients. This enables us to maintain our collaborative way of working throughout the entire process, from project inception to completion.
PROMPT PAYMENT
We are committed to fair pay of our supply chain and pride ourselves on prompt payment. We work to the principles set by the Prompt Payment Code in the UK, and on average we pay our supply chain within 30 days.
SUPPLY CHAIN PROCUREMENT PROCESS
All members have to be pre-approved through our Supply Chain Procurement Process to ensure they are qualified, accredited and experienced within their field.
A trusted supply chain ensures every project is built to the highest specification and on schedule, and also enables us to continue to win new projects. Alcema’s reputation and brand depends on this and because of the excellent working relationships we have Alcema continues to go from strength to strength.
