Alcema takes on a £4.5 million civil engineering project for a client as they grow their logistics infrastructure from a base at London Gateway
A new client to Alcema, we are already enjoying working alongside some great people within the client team.
The project involves driving 600 concrete piles up to 20 metres deep into the external yard areas.
As well as delivering this project without interfering with the day-to-day operations of the client, we have the added logistical challenge of navigating our way around unexploded World War 2 Media. As a result, we are carrying out UXO intrusive surveys of each and every pile location.
Not a job for the faint hearted, but with UXO survey reports and Alcema’s meticulous strategic planning we look forward to delivering another project professionally and on time.
